This exclusive journey to the River Crnojevica starts from Budva and it follows the panoramic ride above the Riviera with occasional photo stops.

 

From the main road, we continue through the countryside and untouched nature as we finally come to our destination. Here we will have enough time to enjoy this little fisherman’s village, to feel the air, and feed all our senses with different landscapes, local food, and homemade red vine.

 

Our guests will also have a boat trip that will take them through the river banks all the way to the magic point where Skadar Lake meets the River. After a few glances of the Lake, we are going back where food specialties and a glass of rich red vine already awaits. In the old days, Rijeka Crnojevica was an important trading center not only used in this part but in the entire country. Aside from old houses and restaurants, you’ll see a beautiful old bridge that shows all the glory of the old trading times.

 

After the construction of the main road that connects Cetinje and Podgorica, Rijeka Crnojevica is mostly abandoned throughout the year except for the season time. When the spring comes, this village awakens again and provides its visitors a time travel to the old Montenegrin days. Surely there are locals who are quite chatty and likely to share with you some of their old stories of the past times.

 

The return to Budva is planned on a different route always surrounded by vineyards, nature, and spectacular sunset.
