Aside from our beautiful landscapes, lakes, rivers, National parks, Montenegro offers even underground beauties. The first cave in Montenegro open for public visits can’t stop to amaze its visitors with its spectacular stalactites and stalagmites and overall adventure.

 

Lipa cave is unique thanks to its enormous halls, 2.5 km long passages, and a bunch of phenomenal cave ornaments, that make this tour a lifetime experience. Its charming diversity of karstic features, build in trails and modern lights make it even more attractive and perfectly safe. The first written record of the cave was published in 1839. but the cave was known long before that by locals that lived nearby. Even Petar II Petrovic Njegos and King Nikola were familiar with the cave and paid great attention. English and Russian archeologists wrote first about its valuable features and undeniable beauty.

 

 

Today the cave is adapted for public visits but still preserves its wilderness. One more option that the Lipa cave provides aside from much-needed cooling on hot summer days, is a bar with drinks, which makes the whole atmosphere more welcoming and enjoyable.
