What we’ll do
The jeep safari tour starts from Budva and it goes all the way through the Royal capital Cetinje, National park Lovcen, Njegusi, all the way back to the starting point.
On our way to Cetinje, we will make a short break at the viewpoint Brajici from which spreads a beautiful view on the Riviera and on the Kosmac fortress. Our next break will be in Cetinje, where we will provide enough time to see the key points of this cultural and historical monumental valley under the mountain. Known for its monuments and history, Cetinje also captures its visitors with a remarkable atmosphere and refreshing nature.
The safari continues towards Mount Lovcen where we are entering the area of the national park is known for its position between seaside climate on one and continental climate on the other side. In these conditions, Lovcen’s flora and fauna are combined and rich with more than a dozen of endemic species. Our way through the park leads us to Ivanova Korita, best known as a perfect picnic spot to run away from the city crowd. From here our guests will have the perfect view of the Mausoleum, the ever resting place of one of Montenegro’s most important rulers and poet, Petar II Petrovic Njegos.
After the break, we continue the road to Krstac, one more viewpoint that allows us to enjoy the mount landscapes, Boka Kotorska bay, and on sunny days even the view of Croatia. From Krstac, we go further to the picturesque village Njegusi, the birthplace of Montenegran royal dynasty Petrovic and the family of Governadors Radonjici. Here we will take a lunch break where our guests will have an opportunity to have a taste of the famous specialties from Njegusi including njeguski prsut (prosciutto ) and cheese.
After our guests are well fed and well rested we continue our road descending down the old Austro-Hungarian road. This road is an adventure for itself with its 25 exciting serpentines (curves), followed all the way with the most mesmerizing scenery of the Bride of Jadran. Following this road, we finish the jeep safari tour at our starting point in Budva.
